A: We’d like to think we’re different because we want to
celebrate the lives of people who made us feel special.
At You Changed My World you can share the funny stories,
special memories, pictures and even video clips of
these great people who touched our lives.
Q: Why do you think people would use a website like this, rather
than say, sending flowers?
A: We’re not trying to replace traditional methods of mourning
and respecting loved ones. This site gives you the opportunity
to celebrate and remember the things you miss about them.
It’s
about remembering how they made you laugh, your favourite
memories and the special moments that made a difference in your life.
Q: Who is this site aimed at?
A: Anyone who wants to celebrate the life of a friend,
family member, work colleague or someone who just wants to pay their
respects to a life lost but in a positive way.
Q: Why do you not charge?
A: We want to make it easy for as many people as possible
to connect and share their stories and memories.
Q: What are the benefits of this website?
A:You Changed My World is easy to access anywhere in
the world 24 hours a day 365 days a year. Sharing stories, memories,
pictures and video clips of the special people in our lives can help
with the healing process and allows us to remember them forever.
Q: Which services/products do you charge for?
A: None. We don't charge for the use of the site.
Q: Do you provide services for people who have recently lost
a loved one?
A: We are looking to team up with several counseling
organisations to help people who are finding the loss
difficult to handle.
Q: Can I create a Memory Box for someone who died sometime ago?
A: Yes, you can create a Memory Box for anyone you feel
deserves to be remembered. The most important thing is that you still
have somewhere to celebrate the wonderful things this person brought
to your life and perhaps to the lives of others.
Q: Can I create a Memory Box for a famous person who I think
deserves one?
A: Yes you can.
Q: Can I add a message to a Memory Box if I didn’t know
the person who has passed away?
A: If you feel moved by an entry please
feel free to add an appropriate message. Family and friends may find
comfort in your kind words and wishes.
Q: Can I create a Memory Box or just leave a thought if I don’t
live in the UK?
A: Yes. From anywhere in the world.

Q: How long do the Memory Boxs stay on the website for?
A: All memory boxes on YCMW are permanent. Please see our terms
and conditions for more details.
Q: How do I invite other people to contribute?
A: Once you have created a Memory Box you will be invited
to email friends and family informing them of the newly created Memory Box.
You can also email friends and family about the Memory Box from your own
email address at any time.
Q: How do I report offensive material?
A: If you see any offensive material displayed on YCMW
please contact us via our online form.
