Supporting You

Providing a helping hand.

You may have people around you who can provide support, love, advice and help through the days when things seem just that little bit too difficult to deal with.

Sometimes though, an objective point of view, a trained professional or a way to 'start' something is just as welcome. Below are some organisations that may help.

Death and Bereavement

A UK Government site that explains your rights following bereavement.

Daily Strength

An American site offering informal support from likeminded people.

Samaritans

For those of us who sometimes need a little more to help us through.

Unbiased

An independent site for finding a Financial Advisor, to help you with any decisions you may want to make.

Special times.

One of our founders gets together every year with the same six friends to remember the day they all graduated. They have done this for over eight years now but up until two years ago, there were seven friends.

In 2008, they will be sharing a collection of memories they created through this site and, no doubt, smiling, remembering and missing 'Bill'.

So whether it is a reunion, a birthday or just something you would love to do, we will soon be able to help bring those keepsakes to life for you.

Self-help.

A contributor asked us to help them find some suitable self-help sites. This person didn't want one-to-one support but felt the need to share their feelings and experiences anonymously with people who felt the same as she did.

To address this You Changed My World will shortly be launching a forum. A place where your experiences and insights can be shared in an empathetic, frank, and safe environment, where support can be both given and sought from people in the same boat as you.
